Story:
From Tatiana’s TOMATObase:
- An heirloom from Eastern Kentucky.
- First offered in the Seed Savers 1994 Yearbook by Patrick DeLozier of Kansas City, Missouri (MO DE P), who bought the seed from CV Good Seed Co..
Big beautiful deep orange beefsteaks with a wonderful sweet, fruity flavor and with a nice smooth texture. Very large meaty fruit, mostly in the 1-2 pound range, but can grow even larger!
Awards have been won with this one at the Kentucky State Fair. The plants are strong but need support with fruit of that size. Grows well even in cooler summers. Medium productivity. There are a lot of high ratings for this one.
