A Mrs. Maxwell of Mexico, Missouri was given seeds by a friend from Italy. For 30 years she saved the seeds, choosing the largest and earliest crack resistant tomatoes each time.
Dark pink large beefsteaks with green shoulders that have really good flavor. Fruit are approximately 1 lb or more and 3-4” in size. This is a very reliable producer that just keeps chugging them out.
