- First offered in the Seed Savers 1994 Yearbook by Carolyn Male (NY MA C), who obtained the seeds from Robert Richardson, NY in 1994.
A very nice red heart tomato, it produces meaty fruit averaging 8-12 oz but can produce up to 1 – 2 lbs. The flavor is outstanding, both sweet and rich. Makes for awesome slices of pure tomato flavor; one of the best hearts.
This one is highly rated in the tomato forums. Wes is nearly seedless so it is a real challenge to save seeds from. You will get good production from these wispy leaved plants.
